I see art studios as special places, almost magical places with a special vibe and a natural art gallery that is part of the artist. In fact, I think that studio of an artist is in itself an art piece and tells a lot about the author/artist. I dare to say that art studios are the best art galleries there are. So, I've been wandering through Pinterest and chose my favourites. I'd like to have a spacious studio where I wouldn`t be afraid of spreading ink. lol What do you think?

Make up and painting: what's the difference?

Generally speaking, make up is used to bring up the best in people's features. That's the main purpose of make up: hide the worse and enlighten the best of each face. Painting is generally an art or means of self expression through which the painter expresses his feelings or messages. But, what if we could use make up as a means of expression as well? If we consider that the way a person looks is his/her way of expressing who he/she is, then we easily come to the conclusion that make up can also be a way of self expression. Right?

De uma forma geral, a maquilhagem é usada para valorizar o melhor de cada rosto. Esse é o principal objetivo da maquilhagem: esconder o pior e fazer sobressair o melhor de cada um/uma. A pintura é, numa visão simplista, uma arte ou meio de expressão através da qual o pintor expressa os seus sentimentos ou mensagens. Mas, e se pudéssemos usar a maquilhagem como uma forma de expressão pessoal também? Se considerarmos que o look de uma pessoa é a sua forma de expressar quem ele/ela é, então facilmente chegamos à conclusão que a maquilhagem pode ser também uma forma de expressão. Certo?
